An oxygen flow regulator is needed to control the oxygen flow when using an oxygen tank. This low-flow regulator allows for the adjustment of the oxygen flow rate from the tank to a volume suitable for ozone generator use in therapeutic ozone applications.
The German standard oxygen flow regulator is used for control of the oxygen flow from the industrial oxygen tanks in Germany and other countries. See the list below.
The oxygen flow is measured in liters per minute (LPM).

OXYGEN TANKS
For ozone production, a high-quality oxygen source is required. Oxygen tanks (cylinders) serve as an ideal method to provide ultra-pure oxygen for ozone therapy.
There are two main types of oxygen available: medical oxygen and industrial oxygen, which is also known as food-grade oxygen. Both types can be used, but in some countries such as North America, for example, industrial oxygen is easier to obtain and more cost-effective.
There is a wide variety of tanks available worldwide which can be leased/rented or purchased. Opting for leasing is cost-effective since the tanks have a limited lifespan.
1. Medical oxygen tanks
These tanks provide 99% pure oxygen and require a prescription from your doctor. They come in various sizes, with smaller ones weighing about 20 lbs. They can be taken to the depot for refilling. The oxygen flow regulator used with these tanks is known as the 870 regulator. These regulators do not come with the tanks, but they do come with the Recover U ozone therapy kits.
2. Industrial oxygen tanks
With this option, you will need to find a local supplier of welding, industrial, or food-grade oxygen. You should contact a local supplier to inquire about their requirements regarding tank purchase. If they offer the tank, you will need the 540 flow regulator, "bullnose" BSP 5/8” (BS 341 #3) British standard, German standard or Italian standard. See list of countries on their corresponding pages.
Also, we do not sell oxygen tanks, we offer oxygen flow regulators that are compatible with most countries' requirements, allowing us to accommodate the different tank specifications worldwide.
We have compiled a list to help you find the appropriate oxygen flow regulator for your country or the country where you plan to set up ozone therapies.
